Non-Literal Portrait

For this assignment you will be creating a Non-literal Portrait of your partner (assigned by Mrs. Olden)

PROJECT DEADLINES-
DUE: Feb 26th
- Portrait Masters (in Google Classroom)
DUE: Feb 29th (end of class) - Pre-Shoot Planning
DUE: March 7th - One Non-Literal Portrait of your partner & Completed Self Evaluation (end of class)

Moving your LR library

How to move & backup your Lightroom library (aka- your images)
  1. Drag 'Photo Vault' from your desktop to your G: drive
  2. Log-in to new computer
  3. Drag 'Photo Vault' from G: to the desktop of your 'new' computer
  4. Open your 'Photo Vault' folder and double click on the LR icon - That will launch LR. The icon is your Lightroom Catalog and will make set up LR and your images on your new computer.
  5. Setup Lightroom- Select 'Ignore Updates' in the bottom left of pop up window.
  6. Setup Lightroom- Check 'turn off tips' and close out of Tips box
  7. Lightroom should now be good to go (look through everything to confirm)!
  8. Sign off, go back to your old computer and log in.
  9. Drag your 'Photo Vault' to the Recycle Bin
  10. Empty your Recycle Bin & Log out
  11. Go back to your 'new computer'! You are done!
  12. Spend 15 minutes going through your images and cleaning up your library
  13. You can rate images you want to keep, use the filter to view unrated images, select all (ctrl + a)
  14. Right click and select > 'remove images' and select option 'delete from disk'

Due 2/16: Two Self Portrait images, Self Evaluation & Masters 

You will be creating Self Portraits from two of the categories:
SIGNATURE
The essential you, what are you known for, how people see you.
PROJECTION
You as someone else, playing a role, becoming something you are not.
SELF STUDY
Looking inside yourself, showing a part of you people do not know, reflective, showing what is on the inside.
FANTASY
Surreal, Fantasy, Dreamlike, Unrealistic.
