Next week during ELP I am looking for 3 volunteers per day (Tues-Fri) to set up studio lights, take head-shots of Vista's full IB students, break down the set and eventually retouch the images you take. Get opportunity to get some experience with lighting before we fully cover it in class! Please see Ms. McKay to sign up!

Assignments:
-Complete 50 Contemporary Photographers research. For each photographer look at their work, read their biography and artist statement (if they have one). Then, write a sentence that describes what his/her work is about. Use adjectives and genres of photography. -Click to download file-
-Become familiar with the Elements & Principles of Art. View this presentation and brainstorm ideas for photographs. Next, take one photo for each of the Elements & Principles (14 images total). This is not a race, think each image through and carefully compose each image with thought and attention to detail. Show me what you got! You will then write an explanation of how each image shows the Element or Principle it is meant to represent. -Click to download worksheet-
