Photoshop Studio Assignment #1

1/11/2013

Picture
Download these images for today's assignment: Image 1 and Image 2
1. Right-click on the word Image 1, choose “Save Target As,” save the file (with the same name) in the “Photoshop Studio Assignments” folder you made yesterday. Then do the same
with Image 2.
2. Use Photoshop’s File Browser to open the Image 1.jpg file.
–Continue getting familiar with the Photoshop workspace.
–Check the image’s size and resolution (Image --> Image Size…).
–Crop the image to a size and resolution where someone could make a 5x7 or 7x5 inch print (you choose the orientation: portrait or landscape).
–Check the image’s Histogram.
–Use Levels to “fix” the exposure issues.
–Save your fixed file as “Bryce.jpg” in the same folder.
3. Then do the same step to the Image 2.jpg photograph, but make it a 4x6 or 6x4, use curves and name it “Roxy.jpg”.
